When you lean into the spiral of life, the current will always catch you. There is nowhere to fall, not deeply, not really.

“Maladaptive Daydream” speaks of the self that has invested its energy into an expired idea or perception of who you are. How you laugh, how you hug, how you make love. What kind of music you listen to, who are your friends, what are your thoughts. This is more or less an invitation to be still in the graceful and brave action of being alive.
To release the burden of a past self that is no longer aligned.

The album has two mainlines of sound - one of extreme intimacy and closeness, a whisper in your ear. The other is the delicious feeling of doom you romanticize to stay put in an endless loop.
